Design what screens and functions the chosen solution consists of, and how the user gets to their main task. The structure should support the persona's main task; do not try to cover the whole imagined product.
Deliverables
- a shareable FigJam link;
- a content inventory: what information and functions are needed for the main task, in order of importance;
- checking the labels with at least three people (a short card sort or label comprehension test) and the lessons learned;
- a sitemap that shows the hierarchy and relationships of the screens;
- a list of the main screens and the functions they support;
- the user flow of the main task with decision points, the main path, and at least three exceptional states;
- a short note on which screens will be the wireframes of homework 6.
Evaluation criteria
- The sitemap and the flow show how the user gets to their main task.
- The labels speak the users' language, and have passed at least one check.
- The start of the flow is the user's goal, not the opening screen.
- The exceptional states are built on real risks.
- If a function is not relevant to the main task, it does not appear just for the sake of examples.
