Homework – Clickable prototype and first feedback
Connect the wireframes into a clickable Figma prototype through which the chosen main task can be completed. Then have at least one other student try it out: do not walk them through it verbally, instead observe where they become uncertain. We learn structured usability testing in chapter 8; this is the first, informal trial.
Deliverables
- a shareable Figma prototype link;
- a clear start screen and success state;
- the working connections of the main flow and the transitions where needed;
- at least one exceptional state reachable in the prototype;
- a short list of the known limitations of the prototype;
- a scenario and a task for the trial, in the structure learned in the lesson;
- at least three concrete pieces of feedback or observations (quote, observation, interpretation marked separately);
- a short reflection: what was surprising, what was useful, and what you would change.
Evaluation criteria
- The prototype serves to try out the main task, not every function is interactive.
- The task does not reveal the solution.
- The observations describe behavior, not just opinion.
- The limitations are marked, so the result of the trial can be interpreted.
